Run Windows applications on Linux & Mac OSX is often very welcome ... CrossOver from CodeWeavers uses Wine for this and offers its software free for 24 h and 48 h ... "!

It is "Grace" on a bet (challenge) lost, launched toward the Bush team as we benefit from this free :)

We could put in doubt the validity of this type of application ... so much energy for the free shot and want to make Windows applications certe ... but do not forget the games too : D

Openoffice.org Office Suite version 3.0 is available for Linux platforms, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X and Windows.

Among the interesting points:

- The load much faster after
- Support for Open XML files to Office files the famous 2007
- Export. PDF
- Interface more visually attractive with new icons
- Support in native mode on Mac OS X
- Ability to put notes to documents more intuitively (edge of paper and colors)

The new version of GIMP has to offer a much more user friendly interface! What to steal more than a ...
GIMP 2.6 is born with a better interface but thought this is not all functions and tools use the engine GEGL which will be part of GIMP 3.0!

Another interesting point is the GIMP uses Webkit, the HTML rendering engine used and developed by Apple for its Safari browser, but also used by Google Chrome.
